Representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus visited the China-Cyprus Cultural and Tourism Association

On September 26, 2025, a delegation from the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus, including Counselor Zhou Yunliang, Director Ye Yi, and Staff Member Sun Shiliang, visited the China-Cyprus Cultural and Tourism Association to extend their greetings and best wishes. On the eve of the National Day and Mid-Autumn

Festival, they brought the warm care and festive greetings from the motherland to the association. "On the occasion of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, we extend our sincerest holiday greetings to the overseas Chinese in the China-Cyprus Cultural and Tourism Association," Counselor Zhou Yunliang conveyed Ambassador Liu Yantao's concern, making everyone present feel the deep affection from the motherland. During the exchange, the embassy staff learned in detail about the living and studying conditions of the association members in Cyprus, and expressed that the motherland cares about the safety and well-being of compatriots overseas and keeps everyone's peace and happiness in mind.

The China-Cyprus Cultural and Tourism Association has long been committed to promoting cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and serves as an important bridge connecting the friendship between the people of China and Cyprus. The Embassy highly praised and affirmed the "Traveling Far and Wide: Chinese Culture Global Tour 2025 Cyprus Trip" series of activities successfully organized by the association in January 2025, and expressed greater expectations for Sino-Cypriot cultural and tourism exchanges.

Through this exchange, Sino-Cypriot cultural and tourism exchanges have gained a clearer understanding of their future direction and mission: to unite more compatriots in Cyprus and pursue a high-quality and meaningful life; to use our lives to drive cultural export and inheritance; and to conduct patriotic education for children in our daily lives.

The Embassy stated that it will continue to uphold the principle of "diplomacy for the people," earnestly carry out various consular services and protection work, help everyone live and work in Cyprus with peace of mind, and hope that everyone will play a good role as a bridge to further deepen Sino-Cypriot friendship and cooperation.
